Since 2019, Ireland has received six Oscar nominations, the main award for North American cinema, in the acting categories. Meet the industry’s hottest Irish stars below.

• Andrew Scott

At 48 years old, the Irish actor has already been a familiar face to the public for a few years. He rose to stardom last decade by appearing on the series “Sherlock” (2010-2017), which won him an award at the Bafta Television Awards. His next prominent role was also on TV, in “Fleabag” .
